Am I a transfer student?

You're a transfer student if you've accrued course credits from one school (sending institution) and want to transfer those credits to another school (receiving institution) with the intention of completing your degree at that school.

If you are a student attending one school and accruing credit at another and transferring that credit back to the school you're attending, you're considered a "transient" or "visiting" student.
